Aamir Khan who was married to Kiran Rao in the year 2005 after ending a 15 year old Marriage with his first wife Reena by divorcing her in 2002 has now welcomed a new one in to their family. The Bollywood couple has been blessed with a baby boy.
The boy was born through IVF to a surrogate mother at a private clinic in Mumbai on December 1.
This the couple's first baby, while Aamir Khan has a daughter Ira and son Junaid from his first wife Reena.
Aamir and Kiran confirmed the news, saying: 'It gives us the greatest joy to share with you the good news of the birth of our baby boy. This baby is especially dear to us because he was born to us after a long wait and some difficulty.'
Talking to media, about their decision to go through IVF they said, “we were advised to have a baby through IVF - surrogacy, and we feel very grateful to the Almighty that all has gone well. We are humbled by the greatness of god, the miracles of science, and the kindness and love of our families and friends in being there for us while respecting our privacy.'
There were reports earlier that in 2009 Kiran got pregnant but unfortunately she had miscarriage and are now blessed with a baby.
