Superstars have always been tightlipped about their acting fee, but it takes no Philip Kotler to figure out that Salman Khan and Shahrukh Khan have the best paydays in Bollywood, apart from Aamir Khan, who is in a different league altogether. Anyway, coming back to the two feuding Khans, we hear that Salman Khan had demanded from producer Aditya Chopra a remuneration that is just one rupee more than what Shahrukh Khan is said to be getting for the Yash Chopra film with Katrina Kaif.
This is Salman Khan’s way to ensure that he gets better paid than his rival, even if the difference is of mere one rupee. And since Salman Khan is a major draw at the box office and his last two releases Ready and Bodyguard fared better than Shahrukh Khan’s Ra.One and Don 2, the dominance in remuneration is somewhat justified.
Salman Khan is presently working in the Yash Raj Films’ venture Ek Tha Tiger with Katrina Kaif. Shahrukh Khan, on the other hand, is shooting for the yet untitled film being directed by Yash Chopra in London.
