Prabhu Deva who is often tagged as the Indian Michael Jackson has unveiled his wax statute today in the Wax Museum in Lonavala, Maharashtra. The choreographer turned actor turned director had tweeted, "Today is a very imp day for me. Just unveiled my wax statue for the Lonavla wax museum. I'm touched! Sunil and his team have done a great job with my statue."
The 40 year old dancer has started off his filmy career as choreographer for various regional movies including Tamil, Telugu, Mayalam, Kannada and Hindi. He has even acted and is now turned on another feather in his cap as the director, who has made films in Telugu, Tamil and now concentrating in Hindi.
This is the first time that a dancer/choreographer’s wax statute has been made in India. This Wax Museum in India is similar to the Madam Tassuads Wax Museums that has branches in major cities across the world.
This Wax museum in Pune has wax statues of other celebs like AR Rahman, Oscar winner sound engineer Resul Pookutty, Adolf Hitler, Saddam Hussain, Sree Sree Ravishankar, Singers Hariharan, KJ Yesudas, cricketer Kapil Dev, Mother Teresa, Hollywood actress Angelina Jolie, Charlie Chaplin, Swami Vivekananda, amongst others.
